Results for grade 6 learners to be out on Tuesday

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu has announced that schools will start to access Kpsea results from Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

Machogu said the learners who sat Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) exam will transit to junior secondary.

He was speaking during a press briefing on release of Form One placement results at Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD), Nairobi on Monday.

“1,253, 577 learners who sat for Kpsea in 32,555 centered will transit to junior secondary,” he said.

In December, KNEC CEO David Njengere said the results will come in three reports.

This follows recommendations by the education review team that sought to do away with KPSEA as a placement tool for Grade 7.

“We will get back to KICD and tell them areas that need to be adjusted in the curriculum designs, and we will do the same with TSC,” Njengere told the Star.
