This week, all schools are expected to close on 16th September 2022 for second term holidays paving the way for term 3 reopening.
This will see learners have a break of 10 Days after which, the term 3 will begin on 26th of September 2022.

There have been worries that a protracted school closure will result in a delay in the coverage of the curriculum for classes that will be sitting the national examinations for 2022 in November and December in term 3.
These concerns were as a result of prolonged shutdown of schools anticipated to eventually cause syllabus coverage to be delayed for classes taking 2022 national exams in November and December.
Professor Magoha has apologized for the inconvenience occasioned by these changes and ask for indulgence, as they work through ensuring the safety and comfort of learners before they sit for their exams by the end of term 3.
