The government, through the Public Service Commission (PSC), has announced 3000 internship vacancies under the Public Service Internship Program (PSIP) cohort (V). The successful recruits (young graduates) will be deployed to different government ministries, departments and agencies, where they will develop valuable technical and professional skills as well as work experience in the Public Service.
To qualify for an appointment, the applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The applicant should have graduated not earlier than 2017. Should also be proficient in computer skills.

Successful applicants will be tasked with completing duties mutually agreed upon and assigned by the supervisors. They will also be required to actively participate in any relevant mentorship activities and additional responsibilities designed for the programme.
The internship will last for 12 months. However, the period is not renewable. In terms of remuneration, the interns will be paid a stipend at a rate determined by the PSC.
